Description

This spacious cottage with sauna is located in a serene setting, in the village of Lamorteau; ideal for families. The house is in a unique location, surrounded by nature as described in fairy tales. The location is secluded and quiet and especially suitable for complete relaxation. You can make beautiful walks through the forest (1 km) and along authentic, sometimes even abandoned villages. After a walk, you can enjoy the wood-burning stove with your family on the comfortable sofas in the living room. If you want to take a refreshing dive: there is a lake 7 km from the house. The house is tastefully and completely furnished and has ample parking space. In the open kitchen you will find a dishwasher capsules, in the bathroom you will find a washing machine with laundry powder and a tumble dryer and in the garden there is a playground.

You can also enjoy a game of table tennis or table football. We kindly ask you to be mindful of the quiet atmosphere around the holiday home, and not to play music outside. The birds will be happy to entertain you with their songs. The owner's very friendly dog is also on the premises, so, sociable and friendly dogs who are not aggressive and does not fight are welcomed. Max. 2; €50/Pet/Stay Please note that the main entrance to the gîte is via the aluminium staircase on Rue du Sauveur. The car park for the gîte is also on Rue du Sauveur. No. 1 Grand Rue is the owners' home.

Wat een fantastisch huisje! Het is gelegen in een klein dorpje aangrenzend aan een prachtig, heuvelachtig bos. In het dorpje zelf zijn er geen horeca gelegenheden, maar op 7 minuten rijden vind je Virton waar meerdere leuke restaurants zitten. Verder is het huisje super fijn. Heerlijk licht, gezellig ingericht, en een keuken waar je in alles voorzien bent. Zeker een aanrader!!

De foto's op de site geven exact weer hoe we het vakantiehuisje hebben aangetroffen: ruim en met zorg gezellig ingericht, rustig gelegen en praktisch voorzien van kwalitatief heel goed gekozen materialen en alle voorzieningen, ook in de keuken. De heel ruime tafel was én gezellig om aan te tafelen én praktisch om aan te werken, met mooi zicht op een grote omheinde tuin (ideaal voor onze hond) en druivelaars aan de muur. Het terras heeft zon van 's morgens tot 's avonds. De omgeving is rustig en landelijk; ideaal voor lange wandelingen in de glooiende Gaume tussen velden en bossen. De eigenaars waren steeds bereikbaar indien nodig, vriendelijk en behulpzaam. In het dorpje zelf was er geen bakker noch klein supermarktje; boodschappen doe je daarom best voor enkele dagen tegelijk omwille van de afstand. We zouden heel graag terug keren, in de winter, om dan te kunnen relaxen bij de kachel, na een lange wandeling. We hebben een op en top 100% positieve ervaring gehad!!
