On the border of the multifaceted departments of the Puy de Dôme, Allier and the Creuse, in the latter department, you will find this atmospheric house with beautiful views in a spacious garden of 1000 m². This garden offers both shade and places to enjoy the sun on a lounger. The charming house has a living room on the ground floor with pellet stove, TV, fibre-optic internet and sound system, a spacious kitchen with all appliances and a toilet. On the first floor a spacious bedroom with king-size bed, a bedroom with two single beds and a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. The house is very quiet and free, with no direct neighbours in a small hamlet with a few houses and barns in the beautiful countryside of the Creuse.
Five minutes away is the village of Evaux les Bains, a spa town already known to the Romans. Here you will find several bakeries, nice shops, restaurants and a supermarket. There are hiking trails such as l'Arbre du Loup along a three-hundred-year-old oak tree, and don't forget to visit the nearby village of Chambon sur Voueize, once voted one of the most beautiful places in France.
Ten minutes away is a swimming lake and a nice waterside terrace.
The Creuse is one of the quietest departments of France and very suitable for nature lovers, a visit to the Millevaches nature park is worthwhile, or check out the city of Aubusson, very nicely situated with many terraces and the modern international Musée de Tapisserie. Highly recommended! Furthermore, there are plenty of historic towns to visit in the neighbouring departments such as Riom and Clermont-Ferrand in the Puy de Dôme, visit the theme park Vulcania, a spectacular day out for the whole family, or climb one of the sixty ancient volcanoes. In the Allier, half an hour away is the town of Montluçon for more extensive shopping or visit the historic town of Vichy.
