The Aller-Leine cycle path is in the immediate vicinity; you can take it and enjoy wonderful trips around the surrounding area. In the wild garden you'll find a wide, undisturbed variety of birds, including the stork, in their natural habitat or domestic and small animals such as sheep, chickens, etc. An egg for breakfast is also provided. Children are welcome. A sandpit is under construction and a construction trailer for playing in the garden is available. Winsen is a fantastic base camp for going on day trips; the Lüneburg Heath or the many attractive amusement parks, e.g. Heidepark Soltau, Vogelpark Walsrode, Serengeti Park Hodenhagen, Hannover Zoo etc. can be reached in a short time. There is a chicken coop with an aviary on the property, from which guests can get their own breakfast eggs. There is also a small flock of sheep on the property. The children are sure to be happy when a little lamb is born every now and then. You have free access to Aller. There is 1 kayak (2 - 3 people) and a single and a double paddle boat. Rent for the boat. 5 euros / day - to be paid on site.
