It's a perfect landscape for hiking with numerous mountain huts and pastures. You can enjoy a ride on the mountain railways discovering the natural beauty of the place. Day trips are possible to royal castles, Zugspitze und Eibsee, the Pilgrimage Church of Wies, and Garmisch-Partenkirchen ski jumping hill. Winters are fun on the slopes of Zugspitze ski area.
