The holiday cottages in the area are almost all equipped with whirlpool, sauna, satellite TV with German channels and a modern interior in high quality. Each house stands on its own plot and access to the houses is via the small connector roads minimising driving in the area. Starting at Tranum Strand there is a relatively short distance to many of North Jutland's famous tourist places like Fårup Summerland, Blokhus, Aalborg Zoo, Aalborg Tower, Klitmøller windsurfer paradise, Bulbjerg's steep cliffs and the North Sea Science Park in Hirtshals. Do not forget to take a walk along the sea and buy a freshly caught fish directly from the cutter - there is still inshore fishing in the area.
