Whether on foot, by bike or on horseback, you can discover the unique flora and fauna of this reserve on over 1,650 km of hiking trails. Experience the flair of Alsatian towns on a trip to the historic town of Haguenau or to the "capital of Europe" Strasbourg. Explore the famous cathedral quarter, La Petite France or the old town of Grande-Île, which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Or visit the Royal Palace in Kirwiller, one of the largest revue theatres in France. But there is also plenty to do for relaxation - experience the surroundings, for example, on a cosy horse-drawn carriage ride with picnic offered by the landlords (on request and for a fee). You also have the option of taking your own horse with you (for a fee and on request), on whose back you can explore the surroundings in the best possible way. Or you can discover the region from above during a hot air balloon ride (from Grassendorf, approx. 1 km).
