Discover this charming air-conditioned holiday home in the Ardèche, with breathtaking views of nature from the pretty terrace and green garden. Ideal for holidays with family or friends. It is set against a rock, 200 m from the centre of the quiet village of Saint Julien du Gua and 13 km from the town of Privas. A restaurant and a grocery shop open all year round are in the village and a supermarket can be reached at 9 km. There are plenty of sights to admire and activities to do in the area. You can go kayaking in St Sauveur de Montagut (17 km) or in Vallon Pont d'Arc, visit the nearby local markets (for example on Thursdays and Sundays in Vals-les-Bains, 13 km away, where you can also find a spa and a casino), or drive along the Gorges du Gardon (30 km) or the Gorges de l'Ardèche (41 km) for stunning views. A day in villages like Voguë (24 km), Balazuc (29 km) or Mirmande (32 km) or the Parc Jouvet (40 km) is also worthwhile. This charming stone house is very well equipped and offers elegant furnishings and comfortable rooms.

Heel charmant huis met mooie tuin en mooi uitzicht over de bergen. Alles was perfect in orde en zeer proper. Het contact met de eigenaar verliep ook erg vlot. Mooie omgeving. Het huis ligt in een dorpje met een klein winkeltje waar je brood en wat kleinigheden kan kopen, da's handig. Enige nadeel is dat de dichtstbijzijnde stad (met supermarkt) zeker een half uur rijden is. Dus als je uitstapjes wil maken ben je wel even onderweg.

Wunderschönes Häuschen mit Flair. Mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, sauber und gepflegt. Küche komplett ausgestattet. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, fast schon familiär.

Prachtig authentiek Frans huis. Bij aankomst met de beheerder op het kerkplein afgesproken die ons naar het huis begeleidde. Daar maakte hij ons wegwijs geheel in het Frans dus enige kennis van de taal is zeer handig. Hij doet overigens erg zijn best ( is opgelucht zijn woordenboek niet nodig te hebben...) en is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Het enige minpunt is de badkamer. Deze is in een soort van keldergewelf (ziet er wel idyllisch uit). Erg laag zodat douchen lastig is, de douchekop niet opgehangen kan worden en er veel nat gespetterd wordt ook is er geen ventilatie mogelijk. De Ardèche is prachtig al wandelend of op de racefiets te verkennen. Het dorpje St. Julien de Gua is klein, heeft wel een winkeltje met depot de pain en een bar. De bewoners zijn erg vriendelijk. Omliggend zijn er prachtige slaperige gehuchtjes en dorpjes. Wat grotere plaatsen als Val les Bains, Privas, Aubenas en Avignon zijn aanraders.
