Een bijzondere hartelijke ontvangst. Een fantastische villa met een grandioos uitzicht. In één woord: prachtig!

Eigentlich darf man so ein "Geheimtipp" nicht verraten :-)) Es war wirklich sehr toll. Wir waren mit ein paar Freunden in der Villa zu Besuch und waren sehr über die Größe und Ausstattung positiv überrascht. Es hat an nichts gefehlt und wir konnten sofort "loswohnen". Wir haben alles sehr sauber vorgefunden, die Gastgeber sind überaus freundlich und haben uns mit zwei riesigen Obstschalen, Wein aus dem "Chianti Classico" und Kaffee überrascht. Der Blick von der Terrasse in die hüglige toskanische Landschaft ist so, wie es bereits Goethe beschrieben hat, einfach nur schön :-)) Wir werden ganz sicher im nächsten Jahr die Villa erneut buchen und freuen uns schon jetzt auf "Monte Nisa", die wunderschöne Landschaft und alles was es neben Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano und vielem mehr zu entdecken gibt. Essen und Trinken ist an so vielen Orten sprichwörtlich "göttlich", so dass wir von vielem reichlich eingekauft haben. Solltet Ihr die Villa buchen, so ist ein Besuch im ganz kleinen Restaurant "Casa Mia" in Montefiridolfi ein muss. Ich könnte natürlich noch viel länger schwärmen.............Wir kommen wieder! Actually, you should not reveal such an "insider tip" :-)) It was really great. We were with a few friends in the villa to visit and were very surprised about the size and facilities. There was nothing missing and we could immediately "go away". We found everything very clean, the hosts are very friendly and surprised us with two huge fruit bowls, wine from the "Chianti Classico" and coffee. The view from the terrace into the hilly Tuscan landscape is, as already described by Goethe, simply beautiful :-)) We will definitely book the villa again next year and are already looking forward to "Monte Nisa", the beautiful landscape and everything to discover next to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and much more. Food and drink is literally "divine" in so many places, so that we have bought plenty of plenty. If you book the villa, a visit to the very small restaurant "Casa Mia" in Montefiridolfi is a must. Of course I could rave much longer ............. We'll be back! Best regards, Tom

Eigenlijk kan ik weinig negatieve zaken zeggen over deze accommodatie. De aankomst was heel aangenaam. De eigenaars waren ontzettend vriendelijk en zorgden voor een geweldige ontvangst na de lange autorit. Ze hadden zelfs al een kleine basisvoorraad voor ons aangelegd dat we ons meteen thuis voelden. De accommodatie is Italië op zijn puurst en mooist. Hele ruime kamers waardoor en hoge plafonds die zorgden voor een grootse indruk. De omgeving zelf was gewoon pure rust en prachtig. Het uitzicht vanuit de woning en vanop het terras was adembenemend.

Actually I can say few negative things about this accommodation. The arrival was very pleasant. The owners were incredibly friendly and provided a great welcome after the long drive. They had even built up a small basic supply for us that we immediately felt at home. The accommodation is Italy at its purest and most beautiful. Very spacious rooms and high ceilings that made for a grand impression. The area itself was just pure tranquility and beautiful. The view from the house and from the terrace was breathtaking.

Villa ancienne mais superbe, idéalement placée pour rayonner dans une région de rêve. L'accueil et l'attention de la famille Ferrini est remarquable si vous avez le moindre souci ou question n'hésitez pas à les solliciter.

Old but beautiful villa, ideally placed to radiate in a dream region. The reception and the attention of the Ferrini family is remarkable if you have the least concern or question do not hesitate to solicit them.

Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in dieser herrschaftlichen Villa. Die Wohnungen sind sauber, bestens ausgestattet und die einzelnen Schlafzimmer gemütlich eingerichtet. Besonders genutzt wurde von uns der großzügige Wohnbereich mit dem Billardtisch im Erdgeschoss des Hauses. Die Vermieter sind überaus freundlich, kommunikativ und hilfsbereit. Sie haben den für den Winter schon abgedeckten Pool extra für uns noch einmal geöffnet, gereinigt und gewartet. Überdies haben sie uns eine Tischtennisplatte zur Verfügung gestellt und uns mit Schlägern und Bällen ausgestattet. Auch wurde uns nach einer Ferienwoche ein kompletter Wäschewechsel (Bettwäsche, Hand- und Geschirrtücher) angeboten. Haus, Anlage und Service waren also zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder!

We had a wonderful time in this grand mansion. The apartments are clean, well equipped and the individual bedrooms comfortably furnished. We were particularly used by the spacious living area with the pool table on the ground floor of the house. The landlords are extremely friendly, communicative and helpful. They opened the pool, which was already covered for the winter, for us once again, cleaned and maintained. They also provided us with a ping-pong table and equipped us with rackets and balls. We were also offered a complete change of linen (sheets, towels and tea towels) after a holiday week. House, grounds and service were so to our complete satisfaction. We are always happy to come back!

We verbleven met de familie (16jr tot 82jr) voor 14 dagen in dit prachtig huis en werden ontvangen als koningen. Super vriendelijke eigenaars! Er was zelfs fruit en drank voorzien als welkom! Ook voor de hondjes waren er drinkkommen en manen voorzien. Hele mooie villa en zwembad die goed onderhouden werden. Eigenaars vlot bereikbaar en ik kreeg snel antwoord op al onze vragen. Top vakantieplaats!

We stayed with the family (16yr to 82yr) for 14 days in this beautiful house and were received as kings. Super friendly owners! There was even fruit and drink as welcome! The drinking bowls and moons were also provided for the dogs. Very nice villa and pool that were well maintained. Owners easily accessible and I quickly got answers to all our questions. Top holiday resort!

We stayed at Monte Nisa with a group of friends. We were 8 in total and rented both appartments. First, Monte Nisa is ideally located. 30 minutes from Florence, and 45 minutes from Siena. Other villages worth visiting, such as San Gimignano and Volterra are not too far either. There is no supermarket in Montefiridolfi, but nearby in the village of Mercatale there is a Coop market and a (very good) bakery! The owners of the House, Lucia, Filippo and their father are very friendly and keen to provide you with any necessary information about the surroundings. The house is very spacious, with 7 bedrooms (one single one) and 2 bathrooms. The house was built in 1934 but has all modern facilities. The kitchens are both very well equipped. Unlike other holiday houses that we have visited with the same group, this house has it all. Enough glasses, enough cutlery. A toaster, a modern cooking plate, a microwave, an oven, mixer, perculator. The hosts suprised us with fresh fruit from the region upon arrival. In total there were 10 beds at the pool. The pool is very spacious 10 meters diameter, about 1,20 deep ... perfect to cool down on a hot tuscan summer day. Depending on the season you might want to consider bringing insect repellent spray. (As you should anyway if you go anywhere in tuscany) . It's very quiet at night! We would definitely recommend this house for families or other groups!
