Had a wonderful week's holiday in Montignac. Beautiful spacious villa where little is missing. Beds were made and the house was clean and fresh when we moved in. Warm welcome by the owner and given a tour. Lovely terrace where grandpa & grandma could watch how the rest of the family lay in the pool. This one is not "actively" heated, but with a kind of greenhouse that is pulled over it, and then hope that the sun does its part too. The water was a good temperature for us, so we were able to swim. The villa is also spacious enough not to get in each other's way or trip over the belongings. The kitchen offers all possibilities to cook for yourself, and in the utility room is a washing machine and a drier. The village is a short walk away, on the way back the pram has to be pushed a little harder :) . A supermarket can also be reached fairly quickly. No all in all a lovely stay. The villa is worth every euro.

A wonderful holiday home in a beautiful place. What was said in the other reviews about noisier air conditioning from the cheese factory across the street, or barking dogs, we cannot agree with that at all. House is centrally located with the village of Alvignac nearby for delicious fresh bread in the morning. The house is fully equipped and especially the fence around the pool is an advantage for us with small kids. The garden is large and very private. If I can mention a point for improvement, it is the furniture that is by the pool. The sunbeds do need to be replaced and the parasol has had its day. We would quietly book this house again. The owners / managers are very friendly and if there is something they respond quickly. We had a wasp nest above the back door and it was immediately resolved. Top!

Lovely cottage with a marvelous view. The swimming pool is beautiful and well kept, we could see the surroundings (a field with cows, hills around) while laying in the pool. Terry and Pauline are easy going and so very kind, they even organized a table tennis for our sons. Two times we were surprised to get fresh tomatoes, cucumbers and a huge zucchini from their garden. The house is completely furnished, with a good oven, we made great dinners and cakes. In the village nearby there is a supermarket which also sells bread, and we can heartily recommend the restaurant l'Auberge des Tilleuls in Badefols d'Ans. We would love to stay in the cottage again!

Complete house (no dishwasher), very nice owners, perfect pool and view, very quiet. But the house is old and therefor low..I"m 1.95mtr and all Doors, some ceilings and the shower (via outdoor stairs) are to low to standup straight But worth every euro
