Mooie grote verzorgde woning. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf hier! Hele lieve gastheer en gastvrouw , maar Italiaans spreken is nodig 😁. Ideaal gelegen om het prachtige Rome met het openbaar vervoer te bereiken! Een zwembad voor de kinderen zou nog super geweest zijn! 🤗

House is generous and is together with one other house on a huge terrain of 800.000m2. This area is used for agricultural purposes such as olive growing, hazelnut cultivation and chestnut cultivation. The pool is fine and is cleaned every day only needs to be shared with the residents of the other house. In addition, there are very few beds for the maximum of 18 people that can be present in the two houses. House is generous but very simple furnished as usual at this price level in Italy. Our dishwasher was broken and those of our friends who together with us in the house were too. We quickly got a new dishwasher installed, our friends did not. In contrast to what we expected there was a washing machine with us that we could share with our friends. In our eyes there was only one real disadvantage to our house and that was the noise pollution. The distance from our gate (with remote control) to our house was about 150 meters, but after 50 meters you did drive under a railway viaduct first! From 05.30 in the morning there was 1 or 2 trains every hour and that was really annoying although one of course had more problems than the other. It did not ruin our holiday or something, but it would be the only reason why we probably would not go here again. The environment is beautiful. It is not as beautiful as Tuscany (and perhaps therefore a lot less touristy, we were about the only foreigners in the wide area) but beautiful. Outside Rome, especially the villages are less special than in Tuscany. The beach can be reached within half an hour and is easily accessible at Castello Santa Severa, and concerns both a public and private beach. Lake Bracciano is nice but not spectacular.
