Hochkönig Winterreich and its three resorts of Maria Alm, Dienten, and Mühlbach form a fairy-tale region in the Salzburgerland as well as a family paradise for skiers and snowboarders. You will see picture book scenery here.

You will also find fantastic descents on the well-kept slopes. The skiing area has a total of 160km of (predominantly red) slopes, as well as many kilometres of cross-country loipes. They also organise a lot of activities to guarantee a wonderful, active winter sports holiday. When you buy a ski pass for the skiing area of Hochkönig Winterreich, it is also valid for the other four areas (Schladming-Dachstein Tauern, Salzburger Sportwelt, Grossarltal, and Gastein), all part of the overall ski area of 'Sportwelt Amadé'. In total, there are 350km of slopes here for you, which make this the largest interconnected skiing area of Austria.

Bathroom is brand new as on photos. Beds are very comfortable (not too soft and not too hard). There is great panorama on ski slopes and on the left side of the balcony you can find the view of rocky mountains. All equipments in apartment worked well. There is also lift inside the building. Apartment is situated 500m from center of Maria Alm. The only disadventage is pillar with electric cables 50m away from balcony but does not ruin the view.

The hosts are very nice. The house is very clean and has everything you need. We were able to take our dog for walks right from the house and walk into the village. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.
