Winter sports holiday in Klippitztörl skiing area: secret snowy tip!

We have yet another secret tip for you: skiing on the ski alm of Klippitztörl. For a relaxing winter sports holiday with young children in beautiful natural surroundings and a family-friendly atmosphere, this is the place to be. Klippitztörl is located in the Lavanttal, a lovely valley in the Carinthia region, and falls under the municipality of Bad St. Leonhard. The Alpine village of Klippitztörl has a traditional centre and cosy atmosphere. The local snow-sure skiing area offers a total of 28 km of slopes and 6 ski lifts. There is also a professional ski school (the owner is a former member of the national ski team!) and young holidaymakers (ages 3-7) can learn to ski in the Ski Kindergarten. You can also enjoy night skiing one night a week on a well-lit slope. There are fewer possibilities in terms of tobogganing, cross-country skiing and snowboarding, but there is an easy connection to the neighbouring areas of Saualpe/Koralpen (the Koralpe skiing area has a fun park, snow park and toboggan slope). In the evening, relax and enjoy the comfort of your ski chalet in Klippitztörl!

Läget är fantastiskt för skidåkning, bara en kort promenad till liftarna, Själva chaleten var mysig och ren, och bastun var en bra detalj efter en lång dag i backarna,

Fantastic holiday home high on a mountain but easily accessible. Our holiday was in May 2023. While it was warm in the valley, it was very pleasant above. House looked very clean and tidy on arrival. Very friendly hostess who gave us a lot of information and tips. We were also able to buy products from their own farm and were also allowed to view the stables with the animals. The photos do not clearly show that the slope from one floor to the other is quite steep. This was not a problem for us. If you like peace and quiet, this accommodation is definitely recommended. We will definitely go back again . Prebl is located in a very beautiful area, there is much to see and experience ... also very good restaurants.

We enjoyed 2 weeks here in the summer. The house is spacious and tidy and the tranquility is wonderful. (You have to be able to handle this) The only drawback is that you have no range, and there is no WiFi. So if you want to look up something you really have to go down there. (Approximately 10 minutes by car) The owners are fantastic people, who show and taste their homemade products. We had a super holiday

We had a great holiday in Austria. The house was very clean and of course great location. Incredibly quiet with a great view. The landlords are very friendly and were always helpful with questions. We especially enjoyed the morning breakfast outside and the view over the clouds and mountains. The house was pleasantly cool despite the warm weather. There are many excursion destinations that are easy to reach on foot or by car.
