Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße (805 m) is located in the Hohe Tauern National Park, around 15 minutes by car from Zell am See on the famous Großglocknerstraße scenic route. Fusch is a quiet village and primarily considered an affordable base for visiting Kaprun or Zell am See. The town has a bakery and supermarket, as well as a number of food establishments, but, for shopping or après-ski, you will need to go to Zell am See or Kaprun. Looking to relax? Visit Tauern Spa Kaprun, a brand-new (November 2010) wellness centre in Kaprun, or the Bathing and Leisure Centre in Zell am See.

Skiing in Fusch and the Europe Sports Region

When staying in a holiday home or chalet in Fusch an der Großglocknerstraße, you can take the free ski shuttle or your own car to the skiing area of Zell am See and Kaprun, together called the Europe Sports Region, which boasts 138 kilometres of slopes. Fusch itself has a ski lift and small slope for beginners, while cross-country skiers can enjoy around 20 km of tracks. Super week gehad in dit zeer complete en schone huis met hele gastvrije eigenaren die op de benedenverdieping wonen. Bij aankomst lag er fruit en een fles wijn klaar om ons te verwelkomen. Bij vragen en tips stonden ze altijd voor ons klaar. Het huis heeft 3 hele ruime slaapkamers, was ideaal met 3 kinderen, waarvan de oudste van 16 zijn eigen kamer had. Ook goed te boeken als je met 3 stellen op vakantie wilt. Er zijn 2 toiletten en 2 douches. Prachtig uitzicht en een goede uitvalsbasis voor leuke en mooie trips in de omgeving. Echt een aanrader!!

For several years we were a guest with Martha and Franz Kapeller. We will be happy with it, with coffee and tasty snacks. Not that I have ever lived there and that I have always been my guests. We live in an unglaubly beautiful time. The house is complete with a large terrace and a view of the surrounding mountains. It is a matter of living and living with us, that is why we are living there. A big Lob an Martha und Franz! Margriet van der Giessen

Had a nice holiday in Stuhlfelden, very friendly house owners, and a beautiful location of the house, enjoyed the beautiful surroundings for 3 weeks and it was nice and cool in the house after a long walk Small comment is that the boiler in the kitchen only provides hot water for a short time, in contrast there is a wonderful shower and the beds are also fine Furthermore, the house has a wonderfully quiet light and the view over Stuhlfelden is beautiful

Wat hebben wij genoten bij Martha en Franz. 2 weken mogen genieten van hun appartement. Heel schoon en alles s aanwezig, heerlijke douche en het uitzicht is geweldig. Ook de vriendelijkheid van de eigenaren was top. Bij aankomst helpen met je koffers en wat te drinken. Ze wonen boven het appartement maar daar heb je totaal geen last van. Ook in de omgeving is veel te doen en te zien. Was gewoon top.
