Bartholomäberg, the ‘sun balcony’ of Montafon

The historic and charming mountain village of Bartholomäberg (1100 m), which is made up of the villages of Innerberg, Gantschier and Jetztmunt, owes its nickname ‘the sun balcony of Montafon’ to its sunny exposure. In fact, it is one of the sunniest holiday regions in all the Alps! Bartholomäberg itself does not have any ski lifts. To go skiing, you need to travel to Schruns (2.2 km away) by car or bus. From Schruns you have the choice of two gondolas to Hochjoch (2520 m), part of the enormous Montafon skiing area. Bartholomäberg itself is a true paradise for winter walking. Together with the neighbouring villages, this area is often referred to as the ‘Winterwander El Dorado’. It is a typical pid and Austrian house with a lot of old furniture and a lot of wood. Old toilet, large spacious bathroom and large spacious kitchen. There is an abundance of cutlery and glasses, etc. and towels are already available, while Belvila indicates that you should bring towels, which is not correct. There is more than enough to do in the area and the view is beautiful. Keep in mind that when you arrive you still have to pay € 590 in cash to the owners for cleaning costs and service costs. Belvila does not mention this. If you are looking for a beautiful luxury home, then you should definitely skip this one. If you are looking for a house with lots of space, this is definitely recommended.

Nice apartment, beautiful surroundings. Just a pity that the Silvretta card is not included while it was promised. It's a pity because that's what we've chosen for this holiday. Really a disappointment because the elevator is not affordable !!!!

We really enjoyed our holiday with the Maier family. The apartment is very well equipped, comfortable and clean. The view phenomenal! It was 2 wonderful weeks
