Holiday home in the countryside in Saint-Germain-de-Salles

We had two good weeks in the house. The accommodation was spacious enough for 7 people and it was clean. Very nice is the washing machine in the laundry and the large drying rack in the garden. The reception of the French lady is fine, unfortunately, she does not have a different language. We have some findings where we can change the owner. The grounds are fenced with big mesh meshes, which is great, just behind the house, the fence was lowered and our dog was able to walk the hunting grounds. We have a very big dog, so he does not fit anywhere in between. We pulled the fence up but it is not optimal. The rear bedroom needs absolutely two new mattresses, these have been completely sunk. After 2 nights we moved to another bedroom. The big bedroom where we moved was very dark, stronger lighting would be very nice. The garden furniture that was really a disappointment for us. There are no high-chair garden chairs, only low-to-sit-down shoes. We bought 2 chairs with high backrest, the backrest of which is back. These have left us behind, hopefully other people will also have fun of it. There are also no sun beds in the garden. The vacuum cleaner smelled very much, mainly to dog. This prevented us from using the vacuum cleaner regularly and especially used the broom. All in all, we had a nice stay.

A very quiet location in the middle of nature with more than enough possibilities for children when the weather is less. The house was well equipped with kitchen equipment / reading books / games, as well as the contact with the owners and the local manager was very correct and smooth. Via satellite you can receive One, Canvas, Dutch channels and more. No wifi, but 3G reception outside the house is very good and so more than enough, you do not want to take the internet on vacation. We had a very nice holiday!

A wonderful place where you can enjoy the silence, tranquility and beautiful views of the meadows. Tastefully decorated house with lots of space and privacy with an enclosed garden, which was very pleasant for our dog. Comfortable garden furniture which made it a great place to be outside. The plan d’eau for swimming enthusiasts is a few minutes away. Handy that linen etc is present. With an excellently equipped kitchen, you can also cook for yourself. This house is definitely recommended!
