Holiday Apartments in Dommershausen

Het is een erg groot huis, waar in de loop van de tijd steeds stukjes bijgebouwd zijn. Daardoor is het een soort doolhof. Er is een grote keuken met veel keukenspullen, een grote oven, een fijne bakplaat en twee vaatwassers. Er is buiten een speeltuintje met o.a. een schommel en een speelhuisje, binnen staan een tennistafel en een voetbaltafel (met batjes en balletjes) en er zijn spelletjes en boeken (Duitse en Nederlandse). Ook als het regent dus genoeg te doen, ondanks het ontbreken van WIFI. Er is een knusse vuurplaats waar je vuur mag maken met zelf gesprokkeld hout uit het bos. Het huis is op de top van een heuvel en heet 'Schöne Aussicht', maar vanuit het huis heb je eigenlijk vooral uitzicht op bomen. Bij heldere nacht zie je wel ongelooflijk veel sterren. In het bos rondom is het fijn wandelen. Er zijn drie kinderbedjes, een kinderstoel en een wasmachine aanwezig. Er is geen waslijn of knijpers. In de buurt van het huis is niet veel te doen, maar de route naar Koblenz langs de Rijn (ong. 45 minuten rijden) is prachtig. We (twee gezinnen met kinderen van 2 tot 13 jaar) hebben daar het Legermuseum bezocht, en op een andere dag zijn we met de kabelbaan naar Vesting Ehrenbreitstein gegaan, beide echte aanraders. Ook de Sommerrhodelbaan bij Loreley is de moeite waard.

We stayed 7 days in the holiday home of the Fam Kessel and had a great time. The host and hostess are very friendly and helpful with regard to walks or visiting a nice town. The rooms are spacious clean, tidy and the kitchen is fully equipped. Bottles of water and a bottle of juice were ready for us in the fridge. From the balcony you have a beautiful view of the Moselle and the beautiful hills with vines and forests. The supermarket with the bakery across the road is also a luxury that we have used several times. The walking route starts immediately over the bridge and is beautiful and varied. Cycling along the Moselle between the vines and the beautiful weather it couldn't be more beautiful! When we left we got a bottle of riesling to take home that we will enjoy thinking back to this wonderful holiday. Greetings Fam Visser

This was the third year we stayed at Moselblick in Neumagen-Dhron. In the meantime Anne and gerd became friends and when we come there, we are welcomed as friends. Like every year the studio is perfectly clean and cosy. For my wife and I Moselblick is our seconf 'home'. Next year we will try to go there for 2 weeks. The Mosel area is fantastic with places like Cochem, Saarburg, Traben-Trarbach and Bernkastel-Kues to visit. Anne and Gerd deserve a 10 for their hospitality and the facility they offer!!
