Holiday home in ski area in Le Vaud

Chalet très bien situé et très bien équipé. Convenable pour 3 adultes et 3 enfants, à noter que les couchages à l'étage sont vraiment plus adaptés pour des enfants. Excellente communication avec notre hôte, qui était très aimable. Petit bémol sur la piscine, dont les co-propriétaires ont voté la fermeture hivernale une semaine avant notre arrivée... pendant les vacances scolaires... Dommage, c'était en partie pour cela que nous avions choisi le site, avec la piscine comme plan B en cas d'intempéries. Bonne expérience malgré cela.

The key transfer is very nicely arranged through a key safe. Very handy, also for during the holidays, no chance of lost keys or someone standing in front of a closed door. The accommodation was very cozy and spacious. the cottage is very cozy and you immediately feel at home. The area is beautiful, the ski area challenging enough for everyone. Nice restaurants and fantastic views. However, the ski-in / ski-out was very difficult, even for advanced skiers. We have tried to avoid this as much as possible and advise beginners to walk on the road. This was the only thing disappointing about this house. We had a great week.

It is a beautiful spacious apartment, which indeed is close to the ski lift, so you can from the apartment in your ski gear walk to the elevator. The apartment was clean, but we were apparently the first people since a long time and therefore the apartment was freezing cold and it took two days before it was warm. Tip take extra thick socks or slippers with it, because the tiled floor is very cold. Furthermore, equipped and even Dutch television. Chapelle d 'Abondance is a small quiet village, but the more lively Chatel can be reached by car in 5 minutes
