Résidence Archipel

Résidence L'Archipel is conveniently located on the outskirts of the historic town of La Rochelle. It is about 1.4 km to the old port and about a 15-minute walk to the beach.

The residence has a reception, a patio with the heated outdoor pool (open depending on the weather; approx 1.5 m deep), sun terrace with sunbeds, a gym, laundry, bike shed (also bike rental), bread service and parking for one car in the garage.

La Rochelle, one of the most visited (medieval) cities in France, will seduce you with its many charms: the old port and pleasure port, the old town with its cozy stores and streets and the many festivals. In short, an ideal vacation address for people who like an urban environment and yet plenty of nice rural excursions. The Charente-Maritime department offers many opportunities for that. Think of trips to the cultural city on the river Charente: Rochefort (35 km.) or to the famous Fort Boyard (36 km.), which lies between the inviting islands of Ile-de-Ré (about 28 km.) or Ile-d'Oléron (85 km.). On both islands, many will be amazed by the vast green fields, fine sandy beaches and quaint streets. Wine lovers can also indulge their love of wine here; 650 hectares of vineyards to discover on each island! Prefer to get out into nature? The nature reserve Marais Poitevin (approx. 18 km.), or the Green Venice, can be enjoyed on foot or by bike. The real flora and fauna connoisseurs can also explore the area on a guided boat. An absolute must!
