Domaine Du Grand Tourtre

Domaine du Grand Toutre is a small scale, stylish and very well-maintained holiday park, situated in a peaceful rural location at 2.5 km distance from Chalais. The park offers fine views across the surrounding fields, vineyards and woodlands.

Domaine du Grand Toutre's entrance is secured with a gate (requiring a code). The holiday park has lots of facilities including a trampoline, small playground, football pitch, tennis court and volleyball field. You can rent mountain bikes, too.

In the attractive town of Chalais you'll find a few supermarkets, an interesting market with local produce and an impressive castle. The markets of Barbazieux (20 km) and Brossac (10 km) are nice to visit as well. At 12 km distance from Domaine de Grand Toutre, you can find Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, which belongs to one of the \"Plus Beaux Villages de France\" (prettiest villages in France). Golf lovers will enjoy playing on the 9-hole golf course Le Manoir du Longeveau in Pillac (19 km). The town of Cognac with its cognac houses such as Hennessy, Martell and Otard, is a 50-minute car drive away. The charming wine capital Bordeaux can be reached by car within an hour and makes a great day trip.
