It's a vacation to experience nature and culture. This 1-bedroom castle in Gualdo with a shared swimming pool, heating, a shared garden, and a barbecue is ideal for a family of 4 to relax near the forest. The central location provides access to all facilities including a supermarket at 1 km and a restaurant at 3 km. There are many attractions to visit including Gualdo Cattaneo, Foligno, Spoleto, Todi, Perugia, and Lake Trasimeno. You can enjoy a day trip to Tuscany at 70 km and Rome at 130 km. The small Church of San Bartolomeo in the apartment complex has wonderful frescos from the 16th and 17th Centuries. The castle is on the first floor of a tower. You can cook breakfast from the modern kitchen or try the local dishes served in the restaurant in the castle.

There is a paid heating and the living-dining room has a fireplace. You can enjoy the barbecue in the furnished garden in the evening. Parking and space for 2 pets are also provided. The airport lies 45 km away.

Dit was een pareltje. Italië op zijn best! Heel sympathieke eigenaars. Je waant je in de Middeleeuwen. Wij komen terug!

Leuk en sfeervol appartementje in een middeleeuws kasteel, heel bijzonder! Het zwembad ligt in een tuin met een adembenemend uitzicht. Ergens in dat kasteel is ook een restaurantje te vinden waar je kunt aanschuiven. Het is allemaal niet zo aangeharkt, maar dat vonden wij juist leuk. De ontvangst was heel hartelijk, er stond een flesje wijn klaar en wat basisbenodigdheden (koffie, melk). De omgeving is prachtig, en er zijn verschillende stadjes te bezoeken (Spoleto, Spello, Trevi, Assissi). Het enige jammere is dat je bij het appartement niet buiten kunt zitten. Met een kleine moeite wel te realiseren dachten wij (we zagen het wel voor ons .... :)
