There is a 45 m² terrace where you can enjoy barbecues and lovely meals outdoors. There is also a storage room for fishing equipment and such, where you also find a 140 litre freezer. There are plenty of signed hiking trails in the area, that will take you to mountains with a view of fjord, sea, farms and forests. Go on day excursions to Bergen, Stavanger, Haugesund, the Pulpit Rock, etc. There is an 18 hole golf course 15 km from the cottage. Excellent fishing conditions in the sea. Boat available for rent, check the booking page for information. There is also a fish cleaning table here. In the stream located 400 metres from the house and the lake 1,2 km away, you can catch trout. Buy a fishing license at the local gas station (50 kr per day). You can rent canoes and kayaks 4 km away.
