It is a great place for sunbathing and admiring the sea, as well as for walks. The beach is surrounded by dunes covered with rare plants. An interesting fact is that the sea water in this region is not contaminated with industrial pollution and is considered the cleanest in the whole of Pomerania. Dziwnów is an ideal place for water sports. An alternative to water sports are cruises on pleasure boats or motorboats. Dziwnów is also a paradise for anglers, who can fish both in the Baltic Sea and in the Kamieński Reservoir. Interestingly, the water in the Reservoir is sometimes salty, because the sea water in strong winds retreats towards the reservoir, instead of going deep into the sea. In the town, we can therefore catch saltwater and freshwater species of fish. Four kilometres from Dziwnów, in Wrzosów, there is the Baltic Dinosaur Park. It is an ideal place for the whole family, focused on active outdoor recreation. In addition to the educational trail with impressive figures of dinosaurs, there is also a mini zoo in the form of a safari, which is inhabited by, among others, alpacas, llamas, ostriches, pigs, ornamental birds, and even a white kangaroo from Australia.
