The Värnanäs archipelago nature reserve is an area of sea east of Halltorp and is considered one of the most important places in Sweden for harbor seals. If you're lucky, you can see them. In Germundslycke there is a well-visited farm shop. For those interested in nature, there is also the Stufvenäseken, which is Småland's second largest oak with a circumference of 9.7m. You have 30 km to Kalmar with its large cultural, shopping and restaurant selection. Here you have the astonishing Kalmar Castle, which is well worth a visit. The children usually appreciate Skälby Gård with its animals and playgrounds. Also, don't miss driving over the bridge to the "island of the sun and winds" Öland, which is a must-visit. Here you also have Öland's Zoo with its animals, funfair and water park, which is popular for children.
