High-altitude winter sports on the Mölltaler Glacier
The Mölltaler (over 3,000 m) is the highest skiing area in Carinthia. From Flattach, the Mölltaler Glacier Express takes you in only 8 minutes’ time to the heart of the Mölltaler Glacier skiing area, with 53 km of slopes for every level and 8 lifts, not to mention the Glacier Snow Park! Cross-country skiers can enjoy a 2.5 km-long track at an altitude of 2,200 metres. Thanks to the high altitude, snow is guaranteed here from October to May!
