Silvretta Arena – Ischgl-Samnaun is a lovely, vast skiing area with a wide variety of blue, red and black category slopes for all levels of skiers. Modern lifts ensure that you reach all slopes quickly, safely and comfortably. Investments are continuously made in the latest lift technology. New for the 2010/2011 season is the ‘Lange Wandbahn’ railway, a chair lift with heated seats that takes you to the mountain station (2850 m) in only 5.6 minutes. The longest ski run is 11 kilometres (Greitspitz-Ischgl Dorf), there is a special carving run and numerous 'tiefschnee' options for free riders (sign up for a guided off-piste ski tour). Cross-country skiers can enjoy the wintry landscape of the Paznau Valley along a variety of tracks (altitude: 1377-2036 m). Looking for something different?
