The ski area of Moléson-sur-Gruyère is located 6 km. to the southwest of the medieval town of Gruyere (as in the famous cheese), in the Swiss canton of Fribourg. It is the largest ski area on the Freiburgerland, with 6 lifts and 35 kilometres of trails for every level (blue, red and black). For kids and beginners there is a practice trail, for snowboarders there is a snow park (300 x 400 m, with boardercross and handrails).

And then there is still the ?funiculaire?/ ?Standseilbahn?, the funicular railway. This panorama cable car links Moléson-sur-Gruyère with Plan-Francey, while you enjoy the beautiful landscape. The gondola then takes you from Plan-Francey to the top of the Moleson (where you will find a panorama restaurant). From there you can take a sleigh ride to the village, along a 4 km long sleigh track. The gondola that links Moleson with Plan-Francey also offers access to various snowshoe trails. The area has at least 30 km of these trails, where you can enjoy the beautiful white landscape. There are also guided tours organized from Moleson-sur-Gruyeres.
